As a teenager, Peter found pure happiness in listening to the music of Paco de Lucia, Manolo Sanlucar and Serranito. Even after 40 years of performing, his love for flamenco continues to grow. This year, El Periquín has brought together all the experiences of his long inspiring flamenco journey on his tenth album homecoming.

All the 'stories' he plays alone. Where Peter feels at home now. Not in a studio, but surrounded by nature in the southern hills of Portugal. He found an old abandoned church, where at most a lone walker occasionally passes the closed door. Peter was given the key. He enjoyed the beautiful acoustics while recording the beautiful songs. Moreover, he left the door open. The sounds of nature came in and the practised listener will hear them.
